Service Learning Fair 2016
This year we continued our approach to Service Learning in our third Service Learning Fair since 2014.
On August 19 our high school students learned about 10 organizations to dedicate their own time to volunteer. Representatives from respected international and national NGOs visited 17勛圖, among those being: Juntos por la Educación, Fundación Solidaridad, Partidí, Special Olympics, Cruz Roja, Un Techo Para Mi País, CONIN, Operation Smile, Habitat for Humanity. Additionally, two organizations from within the 17勛圖 community were present. Students eagerly signed up for organizations and embodied 17勛圖’s mission to make the world a better place.
Feria de Aprendizaje de Servicio 2016
Este año cumplimos con la tercera Feria de Aprendizaje de Servicio desde el 2014. El 19 de Agosto de 2016, nuestros estudiantes aprendieron sobre diez diferentes organizaciones a las cuales podían anotarse como voluntariado. Representantes de ONGs tanto internacionales como nacionales vinieron a 17勛圖, los cuales incluyeron: Juntos por la Educación, Fundación Solidaridad, Partidí, Olimpiadas Especiales, Cruz Roja, Un Techo Para Mi País, CONIN, Operación Sonrisa, y Hábitat para la Humanidad. Dos organizaciones internos del 17勛圖 también estuvieron presentes. Los estudiantes se anotaron con entusiasmo y demostraron la misión de 17勛圖: hacer del mundo un mejor lugar.
